7-day Project Calendar Not Cooperating

I'm a bit stumped. I have a 7-day calendar for curing concrete but P6 is taking my duration and dividing by 3. In other words, it thinks I am working three 8-hour shifts every day. I went into the project calendar and changed the workday to 8 hours for every month of the project, but the problem continues. What else could be causing this problem? Thanks in advance.

When you set your 7-day calendar, you might have copied a 7x24 hour days calendar from your Global list. if you copy another calendar from the Global list for a 7-day workweek it will work fine.
