i am trying to input activities in P6 but it did not order activities and codes. someone had asked previously, i'm not sure each activity line call a baseline? if so, Mr. Shinwari gave the answer for this but it is dificult to understand. how to set up " classic WBS layout" in activity? and also, insert activity in project, it did not order, so how to make it order? thank you. Dear Don, for ORDER, use SORT option in ORGANIZE toolbar. Secondly, base line is the SNAP SHOT of your plan relating to which you compare your actual progress. When you complete your PLAN, you make a baseline of that. for WBS layout, first define WBS and then Assign WBS and then use ORGANIZE tool and classify activities based on WBS.
