How could I define a Frame on a thick plate(shell)
Additional Details
I want to define a beam which is connected along a part of its lenght into the shell.the thickness of the shell is 0.8 meter and 1.5 meter for the beam.if I define a 1.5 meter beam on a 0.8 meter shell, I wonder if an external thickness and stiffness will be considered at shell & beam connection area by software in my model.
