Density of steel is 7850gms per cum

Mild steel has a density of 7.85 g/cm3


Volume of steel rod with diameter of 16mm and a length of 1m:


Volume = Pi x 0.82 x 100


Volume = 201 cm3


Mass = 201 x 7.85


Mass = 1577.85 g


Weight = 1.57785 x 9.82


Weight = 15.5 N
