First define Truss, then a Roof truss and then may be the mechanism of working of roof truss. Like how the roof truss bears the load. Then you can write the steps of SAP2000 starting from the constants that you will be using (Like fc', fy' etc) and then Dead and Live loads.....I hope this much intro will be enough....
